Opportunity Overview - Social Media and Marketing Internship
The University Catholic Conferences of CA (UCCC) was founded in 2013 by college students FOR college students. College students from schools all over CA participate in this annual intercollegiate Catholic conference with its location rotating to different schools each year.
As of 2019 UCCC is now in the process of establishing itself as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a full Board of Directors and annual core team.

The Team
The Board of Directors oversees UCCC and act as advisers to the core team. Their main focus is creating a separate conference for Young Adults; therefore, the Board will manage not only the student conference, but develop and produce a new conference for UCCC as well. (Note: our Board is spread throughout the Nation - Bay Area, Los Angeles, Maryland, Alaska).
The Job
The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with the COO to produce and upload content to keep UCCC’s social media accounts active through our “off-season.”
Social Media Coordinator intern will be responsible for producing, uploading, and writing 3-4 contents a week (Instagram, Facebook).
Intern will also have access to UCCC Google Drive, which holds past photos
Work closely with COO and CPO to coordinate contents. You’ll also need to be available 15 minutes every month for check-ins with the COO.
Create social media calendar at least 2 weeks in advance
Take a course on Udemy on Instagram (course will be provided to you free of charge)
Work closely with core host team to provide them with UCCC 2021 content
The Must-Haves
Catholic in good standing and a desire to grow in FAITH
Students must be from a CA-accredited college
Candidates should be self-motivated, able to multitask, have a good attitude, have great communication, and work independently
Proficiency with Google Drive is a must
Excellent grammar skills is essential!
Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently enrolled or within 6 months post-graduation
The Nice-to-Haves
Attend at least 1 UCCC
Knowledge/use of Slack
Know Photoshop/Illustrator
Previous graphic design experience
Use of Canva
