Opportunity Overview - Programs Internship

The University Catholic Conferences of CA (UCCC) was founded in 2013 by college students FOR college students. College students from schools all over CA participate in this annual intercollegiate Catholic conference with its location rotating to different schools each year. 

As of 2019 UCCC is now in the process of establishing itself as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a full Board of Directors and annual core team.

To unite Catholic university students across California with an annual conference centered in the universal Catholic faith through:
Intellectual Engagement with Church teachings through dynamic speakers and educational workshops.
Spiritual Nourishment through beautiful liturgies, sacraments, and worship.
Fostering a Community of Catholic college students across campuses.

The Team
The Board of Directors oversees UCCC and act as advisers to the core team. Their main focus is creating a separate conference for Young Adults; therefore, the Board will manage not only the student conference, but develop and produce a new conference for UCCC as well. (Note: our Board is spread throughout the Nation - Bay Area, Los Angeles, Maryland, Alaska).


The Job

The Programs Intern will work closely with the Chief Programs Officer (CPO) to plan and produce documents that support UCCC programs and logistics.

  • Programs intern will be working with the CPO to develop a UCCC Starter Kit to capture past lessons learned and create a package to provide guidance for future conference planning

  • Organize past conference documents in UCCC Google Drive

  • Create consolidated planning templates and documents from past conferences

  • Support future conference programs and logistics as needed


The Must-Haves

  • Catholic in good standing and a desire to grow in FAITH

  • Students must be from a CA-accredited college

  • Candidates should be self-motivated, able to multitask, have a good attitude, have great communication, and work independently

  • Proficiency with Google Drive is a must

  • Excellent grammar skills is essential!

  • Attended at least 1 UCCC
